Background

Nuclear Law Association

Nuclear Law Association (NLA) has been established in  2011 at New Delhi, India. The Association is a forum for the legal community to discuss issues relating to peaceful use of nuclear energy in India. NLA aims to promote knowledge sharing and influence policy formulation through seminars, research and outreach. Read more about NLA's objectives.

NLA is conceived as a think-tank and aims to be a center of excellence in nuclear energy law research. Professionals and students with interest in nuclear energy law and policy both from India and abroad may get involved with NLA.

NLA is collaborating with the International Nuclear Law Association (INLA) as its India Section.

Centre for Nuclear Risk Analysis (CNRA) has been established as a dedicated research centre within NLA. The purpose of the CNRA is to undertake wide-ranging research covering all subjects relating to civil nuclear energy development in India and South Asia, and its engagement with wider world. CNRA emphasizes on interdisciplinary studies and will serve as a repository of information on nuclear power plants.
